D-Dimer

D-Dimer

Used for the quantitative determination of D-Dimer in human citrated plasma via particle-enhanced immunoturbidimetric assay on the Modular automated analyzer.

Instrument: Roche Modular (P800)

Specimen Type: Citrated plasma

Volume per test: 7µL (min volume 125µL)

Principle:

In this particle-enhanced immunoturbidimetric assay, latex particles are coated with monoclonal antibodies to the D-Dimer epitope. The antigen/antibody complexes produced by the addition of samples containing D-Dimer lead to an increase in the turbididy of the test reactants. The change in absorbance with time is dependent on the concentration of D-Dimer epitopes in the sample. The precipitate is determined turbidimetrically.

Testing Range: 150-9000 µg FEU/L
